"Golden Age" by Arthur Emanuel Lorenzani (1885-1986) Figure/female/nude "A young girl is kneeling, both hands behind her head, which is turned slightly to the left. The delicate features, which have a dreamy expression, and the youthful forms are subtly modeled. It was created at New York in 1922 and two copies cast, of which the second is owned by the sculptor." ("Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968). |
