    "Golden Age" by Arthur Emanuel Lorenzani (1885-1986) Figure/female/nude "A young girl is kneeling, both hands behind her head, which is turned slightly to the left. The delicate features, which have a dreamy expression, and the youthful forms are subtly modeled. It was created at New York in 1922 and two copies cast, of which the second is owned by the sculptor." ("Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968).

    "Man Carving His Own Destiny" Albin Polasek (1879-1965) Figure/male/power/effort A powerful man is by his own efforts freeing his body from a stone block. All but his legs have emerged, as with tremendous effort he raises a primitive hammer to strike the chisel held against his thigh. Mr. Baillie died 11/6/1961, the work was completed by Mr. Lorenzani
